Uncommon Thrift at St. Christopher’s, formerly known as St. Christopher’s Gift & Consignment Shop, has been in operation since 1975. It is run by a group of dedicated volunteers, both from St. Christopher’s and the community, who provide a helpful and friendly atmosphere to the shop. The shop is approximately 1,000 square feet and filled with donations from very generous donors. A wide variety of merchandise is offered including small furniture, antiques, home décor, housewares, artwork, men’s and ladies’ clothing, jewelry…and Always the Unexpected—always in excellent condition!

Outreach

Uncommon Thrift supports a number of local, and global organizations and activities, such as Lower Cape Outreach, Chatham Food Pantry, Chatham Bereavement Support Group, local Pastoral Care efforts, the Goll Farm School in Liberia, as well as operations at St. Christopher’s.

Donations

Donations gladly accepted including clothing, handbags, jewelry, accessories, shoes, home décor, small furniture, artwork, lamps, small rugs, housewares, puzzles, games, books, and many other items, as long as the donations are in very good condition. Typically, electronics are not accepted.

Donation hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 9–11, or by appointment.

How to Find Us

Located at 637c Main Street (Behind the Orpheum Theater) in Chatham. There is excellent parking in the lot behind the Orpheum.

All major credit cards (except Amex), Apple Pay, checks, and cash are accepted.
