Screening of Newtown
Friday, March 24, 9:30 am. This event, sponsored by St. Christopher’s, will take place at Chatham Orpheum Theater, and will be hosted by Nick Stuart, executive producer (and St. Christopher’s member), who will be on hand to discuss this important film. Other participants in a panel discussion to follow include: Chatham Chief of Police Mark Pawlina, Community and Youth Resource Officer Sgt. Bill Massey, Chatham Fire Department personnel Captain David DePasquale and Lieutenant Justin Tavano (liaisons to the local schools’ Crisis Management Team), Superintendent of Monomoy School District Scott Carpenter, and Lisa Cataldo, Ph.D., a mental health professional and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Counseling at the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at Fordham University. Tickets are free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Orpheum box office. PBS will premiere this film nationally in the spring. The film has been critically acclaimed.
